APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants must have completed a psychiatry residency prior to beginning the fellowship and be qualified to obtain a Louisiana medical license. The following should be completed and sent to the fellowship coordinator, Sedette Skaggs at sskagg@lsuhsc.edu.

  • Curriculum vitae·       
  • Copy of medical school diploma·       
  • 3 letters of reference – 1 of these letters must be from the applicant’s general psychiatry training program director, who should also complete the following Transfer-In form. 

It is encouraged that applicants apply early in the PGY4 year, and come for a visit and interview in the fall.
