Dr. Martin J. Drell
—elected Chair of the Assembly of the AACAP in October of 2007. This position places him on the council and the Executive Committee of the Academy also named Best Doctors in America/New Orleans Magazine Article, August 2008
Dr. Bert Quintana
—was elected to the status of Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association also named Best Doctors in America/New Orleans Magazine Article, August 2008
Dr. Erich Conrad
–Received the 2008 American Psychiatric Association Irma Bland Award for Excellence in Teaching residents

—received the APA 16th Annual Nancy CA Roeske, M. D. Award for Excellence in medical student education for 2008 and the Greater New Orleans Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CADA) 2008 Award for excellence in treatment of Addictive Disorders
