Indiana University

Dr. Claycomb obtained his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Indiana University in 1966. His Doctorate was awarded in 1969 from the Indiana University School of Medicine. From 1969 to 1972, Dr. Claycomb was a Research Associate at the Harvard Medical School in Biological Chemistry in Boston where he was a NIH postdoctoral fellow. From 1972 to 1976 he was an Assistant Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Claycomb then joined the faculty at LSUHSC as an Associate Professor and was an Established Investigator of the American Heart Association. He currently is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at LSUHSC
