Scott Neville

The shop facilities of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology contain all of the equipment needed for fabrication and repair of scientific equipment. Scott Neville (rnevil@ lsuhsc.edu), who manages the facility, performs most of the electronic and mechanical repairs.

The Basic Science Instrumention shop has two technicians (Fred Lorio and Guy Molinaro) that build custom lab instrumentation and repair equipment. Our facilities include an electronic shop and a machine shop with all of the necessary equipment to machine plastics and metals.

Scott's electrical shop is located on the fourth floor of the MEB in room 4226. The machine shop is located on the 2nd floor of MEB in room 2216.
