Louisiana State University has been
providing quality continuing medical education to physicians for over
50 years. The Institute of Professional Education (IPE) is proud to
continue that tradition while facilitating CME courses for the Louisiana
State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA, is accredited by the ACCME, to provide AMA-PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians. Although the educational activities are primarily designed for physicians, they may be of value to other health care professionals, as well. The administrative responsibilities for the LSU continuing medical education activities have been assigned by the Office of the Dean of the LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans, to the Institute of Professional Education (IPE). IPE plans, develops, presents and evaluates activities that enhance the postgraduate knowledge and skills of practicing physicians and other health care professionals through the presentation of up-to-date information and training. These activities range from broad reviews and updates to single-topic presentations. All educational methodologies may be employed - including, but not limited to live presentations, in addition to electronic and enduring materials.
