New Faculty Orientation

How do I get involved in teaching? Where do I go for help with an IRB protocol? There’s an LSU specific CV format? On October 5^th, the Office of Faculty Development organized a New Faculty Orientation to help answer those questions and more. Nearly 30 new School of Medicine faculty attended the event, some of them had only been here a couple days, others a couple weeks. While there were sessions on issues of interest to everyone, there were also breakout sessions designed to address the specific needs of clinical faculty vs basic science faculty.
