Graduate of LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency at the LSU Health Sciences Center Family Medicine Residency Program at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in his third year. He served as the Emergency Room Director at W.O. Moss Regional Hospital from July 2006 until July 2013 when he joined our team of full time faculty physicians. Dr. Loewer’s main focus is serving the underprivileged patients in Southwest Louisiana. His interests also include mission medicine. He is married with four children and enjoys fishing, golfing and is very active in his church.
