Bio

After 24 years in a full time private practice with a small role in resident and medical student education at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, I left my home state to take up full time academic medicine in my wife’s home state of Louisiana in 2014.  (We both have had our fill of West Michigan winters!)  When I am not helping residents and medical students learn family medicine, I enjoy running and cooking.

Clinical Interests

The tenuous balance between evidence based medicine and the art of medicine, bedside teaching and physical diagnosis.
