Throughout their three years of Graduate Medical Education, our Family Medicine residents are responsible for their own continuity clinics. For the PGY 1, two half days a week are spent in the Family Medicine clinic. That time increases to three half days during PGY 2 & 3. The Family Medicine Residency Program at UMC provides residents with opportunities to learn in multiple settings and to perfect the skills and procedures that are within the scope of Family Medicine, including Pediatrics, chronic medical conditions, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and ENT.
