Dear Visitors,
I appreciate your visit to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Section of Gastroenterology Web site. Our section includes three clinical practice sites based at the Interim LSU Public Hospital, Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner, and Touro Infirmary. Each of these sites serves as a center for gastroenterology fellowship training as part of our patient care activities. In addition to a growing number of full-time faculty, the LSU Gastroenterology Section is complemented by a large number of adjunctive and volunteer faculty. This diverse group of physicians are able to provide specialized care for our patients as well as specialized fellowship training experiences at neighboring institutions such as Ochsner Medical Center, Tulane Medical Center, West Jefferson Medical Center and LSU University Medical Center at Lafayette. As Acting Section Chief, I am working diligently to ensure that this section continues to grow in preparation for the new University Medical Center being constructed in downtown New Orleans. It is an exciting time to work in the LSU system. Please contact me with any questions or comments regarding the activities of our section.
