Dear Visitors,

It is my pleasure to serve as Program Director for the LSU Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology. It is my goal to maintain and build upon a strong training program for fellows pursuing a career in gastroenterology. Our current faculty and fellows continue to serve the New Orleans area as caregivers, teachers, and researchers . Current training sites for fellows include MCLNO/University Hospital, Ochsner-Kenner Medical Center, and L.J. Chabert Medical Center. Through collaboration with the Tulane Section of Gastroenterology, we have improved upon the quality of training activities for both of our departments by creating joint conferences and exchange rotations in the downtown New Orleans campus. Please contact me with any questions regarding the fellowship program or for applications.

Sincerely,

William Ferrante, MD
