Research Associate II

LSUHSC is seeking a candidate for the position of Research Associate 2 in an Immunology Core laboratory. The candidate will function independently in conducting laboratory experiments on research projects within well-defined guidelines. The selected candidate will establish, develop, and perform measurements of biological samples using flow cytometry, western blot analysis, and PCR protocols. Experience in these proceedures desired.  Duties also include assisting principal investigator with summarization, analysis, and organization of data for publication. A Bachelor’s degree in a basic or health science, plus three years of relevant professional level experience is required.
