Workshop for High School Biology Teachers

Dr. Paula Gregory and Dr. Fern Tsien (center, in white lab coats) are surrounded by the 26 high school biology teachers who attended a two-day workshop designed to update teachers in genomics, gene therapy and stem cell research. The unique program is funded by the Louisiana Gene Therapy Research Consortium. Dr. Bronya Keats, chairman of the Department of Genetics, is to the right of Dr. Gregory.
