MEMBERSHIP Membership in the Edgar Hull Society (EHS) is free and open to all medical students at LSU, regardless of their career goals. Membership includes monthly meetings, a mentorship program, community service opportunities, and student membership in the American College Physicians--American Society of Internal Medicine. Additionally, Charles V. Sanders, MD, Chairman of the Department of Medicine at LSU, hosts an annual gathering of fourth-year medical students who are interested in Internal Medicine as a career. Other worthwhile reasons to become a member of EHS are: 1) Establishing friendships with other medical students 2) Meeting one-on-one with faculty, staff, and residents 3) Fostering professional and personal relationships on the local, regional, and national levels 4) Getting involved with your medical school in a positive way 5) Developing excellent leadership skills Please contact us if you are interested in joining EHS!
