Dr. deBoisblanc's research interests include ARDS and pulmonary hypertension. He is Principal Investigator of the Louisiana Critical Care Clinical Center which is one of 10 academic centers within the NIH sponsored ARDS clinical trials network (ARDSnet). He also collaborates with investigators in the Department of Physiology on basic science research projects. Dr. deBoisblanc has received numerous teaching awards. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in bedside critical care procedures. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Critical Care Medicine, and is recognized nationally as a member of the Best Doctors in America for his clinical excellence.
