Dr. Masri joined the faculty of LSU School of Medicine in 2005 after completing his residency program at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He served two years as the charge physician at Odyssey House in New Orleans and has been on the medicine staff at University Hospital in New Orleans and Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA since 2003. In 2006, Dr. Masri became the Director of Hospitalist Services at Ochsner-Kenner Medical Center. The Aesculapian Medical Honor Society presented Dr. Masri with their Excellence in Teaching Award in 2004. He is a member of the American College of Physicians/Internal Medicine, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Jefferson Parish Medical Society. He is also a member of the LSU Faculty Mentors Program and a fellow of the LSU Academy for the Advancement of Educational Scholarship. |
