Bio	After receiving his degrees in medicine and public health, Dr. Ruiz completed a residency in internal medicine at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico, a fellowship in infectioous disease at LSU, and a fellowship in geriatrics at the University of Illinois. He is board certified in internal medicine and holds additional certification in infectious disease.
