After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Wallis served the following year as Chief Resident. He joined the faculty of the Department of Internal Medicine in 2007 following two years as a staff physician at West Jefferson Medical Center. He also serves as clinical director of Electronic Health Records for the LSU Healthcare Network, director of the Med/Peds Clinics at LSU’s Baptist Memorial Hospital campus, and volunteer/staff physician at the Luke House Community Clinic. Dr. Wallis is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. |
