Tong Yang joined the Office of Medical Education Research and Development staff in September, 2003 as Research Associate. Currently, Dr. Yang serves as an Assistant Professor of Research in the Department of Internal Medicine. He holds a doctorate in Medicine from Tianjin Medical University, China. He has also received a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, Louisiana in May, 2003. His previous background includes clinical study and epidemiological research. As a certified SAS programmer, Dr. Yang is proficient in managing and maintaining large databases and conducting statistical analysis. Dr. Yang's current research interests include: educational research study design, measurement tool development, and data analysis. |
