I went to the University of New Orleans for undergrad and graduated with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. I went to med school at LSU here in New Orleans and absolutely loved it. My hobbies include shopping, cooking, and spending time with my husband and my dog, Baxter.

Born in Atlanta, GA, my family relocated to Alexandria, LA when I was 11.  I grew up in Alex and attended Alexandria Senior High. I went to the University of Louisiana Monroe on football scholarship where I received a BS in Biology. After undergrad I moved to Metairie while I attended Tulane earning a MS in Cell and Molecular Biology. Thereafter I spent a year in research in Cellular Immunology at Ochsner. Loving the city, I stayed for med school with LSU. I may never leave! My hobbies include abusing staff on the basketball court, golf, weight lifting, cooking, and spending time my 3 year old son, Brady.

 I am from Baton Rouge. I went to undergrad at LSU and LSU-NO for med school. My fiancee's name is Kristen Heiman. We will be married in December in New Orleans. My parents are Dr. Stephen Pollet (Rheumatology) and Dr. Mary-Nell Pollet (Physical Medicine and Rehab).I have one brother, Mark, who is a third year medical student at Southwestern in Dallas and two younger sisters, Danielle and Mary Grace.

I'm from Tallahassee, FL but have lived from Detroit to Tampa. Medicine's my second career - I started out with a Mechanical Engineering degree form Georgia Tech but got the call to medicine after a couple years in practice. After finishing prerequisites and a Chemical Science degree from Florida State I attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. I look forward to the challenge of medicine and am happy to call New Orleans my new home, but will always remain a diehard Bucs fan.

Born and raised in New Orleans, I didn’t know how amazingly unique this city was until I left to go to the bustling metropolis of Lexington (Virginia) to attend Washington & Lee University. I subsequently graduated in business, worked in DC as a litigation consultant (which I hated!), and then pulled the 180° career change, quitting my job to begin post-baccalaureate pre-med classes at UNO.  Six years later, I had a Masters in Public Health and Doctor of Medicine from LSUHSC-New Orleans. I will train in Dermatology at Tulane in 2012. I enjoy watching the domination of the Who Dat Nation (featuring Drew “Breesus”), fishing, cooking, skiing (aquatic and and the frozen kind), and tennis.
