Expenses

The fees for two semesters and the summer are approximately $3000 and $6300 for residents and nonresidents, respectively. The student activity fee, hospitalization insurance, and books cost about $1700 per year. Check the General Information section of the catalog, page 15, for the current costs.

Stipends and tuition waivers are available for Ph.D. students on a competitive basis. Additional support, fellowships, and low-cost loans are available through the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.

Rents for private accommodations range from about $500 to $800. Living expenses for a single student range from $11,000 to $15,000 per year.
