Requirements

The Neurology Residency has 9 positions. We are enrolled in the ERAS Matching System.  Residents are interviewed in their 4th year of medical school. Neurology board requirements include 1 year of internal medicine done prior to entering the Neurology Training Program. This year may be done in any accredited program. Applicants must submit medical school transcripts, national board scores, dean's letter and three letters of recommendation. Interviews are held in November or December of the year preceeding the 1st year of post graduate training. Residents must be eligible for licensing in the State of Louisiana.
