Compensation will be provided consistent with the pay scale determined by the managing entity of Louisiana's Charity Hospital System.

Chief Administrative residents receive an additional monthly stipend. Salary may vary slightly at the outlying hospitals. Residents will be paid bi-monthly.

2006 House Officer 3 Retreat

The opportunity to participate in-group long-term disability coverage is available through the GME Office. In the event a House Officer experiences a loss of income as a result of an emergency, he/she should contact the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs for possible avenues of assistance.
