Bio	Dr. Rooney, a native of New York, is a graduate of Seton Hall University and New York Medical College. He interned at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, and served residencies in Pediatric and General Orthopaedic Surgery at the State University of New York. While in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, he served as a special fellow in Orthopaedic Oncology. Following an honorable discharged from the U.S. Navy, he was on staff at the University of California in San Francisco, and later served as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon to the King and Royal Family of Saudi Arabia for seven years at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.
