LESIONS AND DIAGNOSIS 1. Tumor cells. 2. Neuroendocrine granules. DIAGNOSIS: PARAGANGLIOMA.

COMMENT: Paragangliomas have neurosecretory granules indistinguishable from those of the adrenal medulla. In the present case the neurosecretory granules resemble those of the norepinephrine producing cells (eccentric dense core).
