Clinical information: 29 year old female with hepatitis C.
Diagnosis: Kidney: Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis (type I).
Diagnostic features: Reduplication of the GBM (mesangial interposition) (long arrows) and sub endothelial deposits (short arrows).

WR2, case # 79-9

Clinical information: Sixty two year old man with proteinuria.
Diagnosis:  Kidney: Diabetic Glomerulopathy.
Diagnostic features: Uniformly thickened GBM (short arrows) and nodular mesangium (long arrows).

Clinical information: 22 year old male with nephritic syndrome.
Diagnosis: Kidney:
Post Infectious Glomerulonephritis.
Diagnostic features:
Infiltration of PMN (short arrows) and sub epithelial deposits (humps)(long arrows).

Clinical information: Sixty two year old male with proteinuria and arthritis.
Diagnosis:
Kidney: AA  (Secondary) Amyloidosis.
Diagnostic features:
GBM spikes (arrows) and mesangium (asterisk) with fibrillar material (inset). Negative for plasma cell dyscrasia.

 

 

 

 

WR2, case # 81-5

Clinical information: Twenty one year old black female with nephrotic syndrone.
Diagnosis: Kidney:
Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis.
Diagnostic features: Diffuse effacement of podocytes (short arrows) and typical glomerular condensation: Segmental capillary collapse and sclerosis, hyalinosis (long arrows), adhesions to the capsule of Bowman, foam cells).
