Clinical information: 32 year old male with encephalitis (Autopsy Material).
Diagnosis. Brain biopsy. Herpes Virus Encephalitis.
Diagnostic features: Intranuclear, hexagonal viral particles (Arrows).

WR6, case # 84-1

Clinical information: 55 year old male with abdominal nodules. At laparatomy no primary found.
Diagnosis. Mesenteric nodule: Metastatic adenocarcinoma. Suggest intestinal primary. 
Diagnostic features: Intestinal type microvilli (with roots) (Large arrows); Glycocaliceal bodies (Small arrows).

Clinical information: 32 year old male with encephalitis (Biopsy Material).
Diagnosis
. Brain biopsy: Herpes Virus Encephalitis.
Diagnostic features:
Intra nuclear, hexagonal viral particles (Arrows).

Clinical information: 37 year old male with muscular weakness and progressive ophtalmoplegia
Diagnosis:
. Deltoid muscle biopsy: Mitochondrial Myopathy.
Diagnostic features:
 Bizarre mitochondria with para-crystalline structures, micro tubular sworls, aberrant lamellar cristae (arrows).

Clinical information: 57 year old man with a para-sagittal mass of skull.
Diagnosis
. Skull mass: Malignant lymphoma.
Diagnostic features:
Plasmocytoid nucleus, no cell attachments, abundant ribosomes.
