Introduction: Interstitial nephritis, thrombotic microangiopathies and vasculitis are usually associated to SLE immune complex GN. However, these have been also described without immune complex GN and therefore called "pauci immune SLE nephritis". The focal proliferative glomerulitis present in this nephropathy is easily confused with focal proliferative SLE GN.

Introducción: Nefritis intersticial, microangiopatías trombóticas y vasculitis usualmente se asocian a las GN con complejos inmunes. Sin embargo, estas lesiones también han sido descritas sin GN por complejos inmunes y por consiguiente denominadas "Nefritis Pauci-inmune del LES". La glomerulitis focal presente en esta nefropatia es facilmente confundida con una glomerulonephritis focal del LES.
