The online Resourse for Histotechnologists Bryan D. Llewellyn For those looking for almost any staining procedure, check out The Stains File, a web page by. http://www.members.pgonline.com/~bryand/ Click on Staining Techniques: Under Index to all Staining Techniques, you will find a LOT of stains, categorizes alphabetically by the name of the stain AND by the substance it stains. (In other words, go to amyloid to see all the stains he has for amyloid, or go just to Congo Red, which also stains amyloid. This is also the Hematoxylin site, which lists more variations for aluminum and iron hematoxylins than I ever knew existed. If you can't access it that way (some people can't for some reason), Go to the Histotech's Home Page http://www.histology.to Click on Peggy's Links. Then click on Stains and Tissues Then scroll down alphabetically in this category and find Stains File. Click on that, and you should be in Bryan's web page. Happy hunting!!! |
