APPLICATION: To demonstrate that the PAS positive staining substance is
glycogen.

MAIN DISTRIBUTION: acid mucopolysaccharides in glands and connective.
TYPE OF STAINING: Deep (Prussian) blue
APPLICATION: connective tissue mucinosis.
