Educational Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss theories of social justice as they apply to access and equity in health care.
- Develop skills in analyzing social determinants of disparities in health care.
- Discuss current and proposed policies for setting the health care agenda.
- Become familiar with evidenced-based models for allocating limited resources.
- Appreciate the need for further research and advocacy to alleviate health care disparities.
