Educational Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Discuss theories of social justice as they apply to access and equity in health care.
Develop skills in analyzing social determinants of disparities in health care.
Discuss current and proposed policies for setting the health care agenda.
Become familiar with evidenced-based models for allocating limited resources.
Appreciate the need for further research and advocacy to alleviate health care disparities.
