Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program

Our division offers an accredited 3-year training program with positions available for 1 fellow each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Pediatric Cardiology and certification by the American Board of Pediatrics Subboard of Pediatric Cardiology. The program has been ACGME certified since 2010.

Clinical Training

During the fellowship period, the trainee gains extensive inpatient and outpatient experience in the following areas:

  1. Inpatient Cardiology
  2. Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Procedures
  3. Echocardiography: Transthoracic, Transesophageal and Fetal
  4. Electrophysiology and Non-Invasive Testing
  5. Cardiac Intensive Care
  6. Outpatient Cardiology
  7. Consultation
  8. Transplantation
