The Superior Graduate Student Training Program in Integrative Pharmacological Sciences and Therapeutics will provide stipend and full tuition support for students admitted into the PhD program in the Fall of 2010. Students to be considered for this Training Award must be United States citizens and exceed all of the requirements for admission into the School of Graduate Studies. The minimum eligibility requirements for the Superior Graduate Student Training Program in Integrative Pharmacological Sciences and Therapeutics are:
Stipend support for students entering the Superior Graduate Student Training Program in Integrative Pharmacological Sciences and Therapeutics is $25,000.
The Superior Graduate Student Training Program in Integrative Pharmacological Sciences and Therapeutics is housed in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. The Graduate trainees in this program will have the opportunity to study under excellent, highly experienced mentors in modern, state-of-the-art research laboratories. The areas of research include molecular therapeutics, gene therapy and cell signaling, renal and cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, behavioral pharmacology, alcohol and drugs of abuse, cancer biology, toxicology and drug metabolism.
