Research Space

Currently, we share state of the art research space with Dr. Woltering in the Clinical Sciences Building on the LSU School of Medicine Campus. The laboratory is equipped with modern surgical dissecting microscopes, gel electrophoresis, protein purification, tissue culture hoods, EMG recording, etc. The majority of our collaborators are located in the same building. A certified animal care facility is also in the building.

Research Funding

Currently, the Department of Surgery is providing financial support. We are actively seeking research grants from organizations such as NIH, NCI, and PSEF.
