General Psychiatry

SEMINAR SERIES

Didactics are an essential part of the training program at LSU/Ochsner and are designed to complement clinical services. In addition to unit and hospital specific teaching, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are scheduled as time away from clinical services.

Psychotherapy, psychopathology, and pharmacology, are taught in advancing segments during the four-year curriculum. Residents participate in annual teacher and course evaluations.
