Bio

Dr. Moran graduated from the University of South Alabama medical school in Mobile in 1994. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC and a radiology residency in diagnostic radiology in 2002 at Martin L King/Charles R. Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, she completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans in 2003. She returned to LSU in 2007 as an assistant professor and academic director of interventional radiology after 3 years on faculty at the University of South Alabama. She is particularly interested in the role of the educator in teaching interventional radiology to students, residents and fellows. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
