Musculoskeletal Scientific Research Consortium

The Musculoskeletal Scientific Research Consortium is the merger of the scientific knowledge and clinical experience of faculty from three schools and one research institute within the Louisiana State University system (LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, LSU Colleges of Agriculture and Engineering, LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, and Pennington Research Center). This consortium provides the foundation for in-depth collaboration and translational research from in vitro lab bench testing thru in vivo animal models to pre-clinical and clinical trials on all aspects of musculoskeletal treatments, devices, and drug delivery systems. The consortium performs both academic and industrial investigations and promotes multi-disciplinary collaborations for support of early stage research, technologies and capability platforms.
