Bio
Dr. Babineaux is from Rayne, Louisiana, and presently resides in New Orleans. She graduated summa cum laude in Biochemistry from LSU in Baton Rouge in 1999 and, then, attended LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she received her medical degree in 2003. Subsequently, she completed a 5-year residency in General Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2008 and, then, went on to complete a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at Yale University School of Medicine in the Department of Plastic Surgery in 2010.
Dr. Babineaux is certified by The American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgery of the Hand (SOTH). Currently, she is in the clinical practice of hand surgery with LSU Health at LSUHCN and UMCNO and she is an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at LSU Health, New Orleans.
