Bio

E.J. Soileau, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Family Medicine Residency based at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine-New Orleans. His Family Medicine residency was completed at W.O. Moss Regional Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dr. Soileau continued his education with a two-year fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and Children's Hospital of Birmingham. He then served on the full-time faculty of W.O. Moss Regional Hospital Family Medicine Residency until its relocation to Lafayette and served as start-up staff on a part-time basis for that residency program.

Dr. Soileau has been active in the American Academy of Family Physicians.  He is board certified in Family Medicine and in Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and in Addiction Medicine by the Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Soileau's hobbies include wood and metalworking, gardening, hunting, fishing, music, and computers. He is married with two sons and two daughters.
