Bio
Jordan Vaughn graduated from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and has completed residency at LSU New Orleans Spirit of Charity program where she served as chief resident and joined faculty in 2023. Jordan Vaughn is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with LSU Spirit of Charity Emergency Medicine program where she serves as APD and Social EM Division Director. In addition to APD, She serves Nationally in AAEM’s JEDI Section and Social EM Committee leadership. She completed the EMRA Health Policy fellowship in 2024. Currently She serves as The NOHD Public Health Clinical Director. She is interested in broadening access to care through respite care, street medicine, harm reduction and community health programming. She is also interested in the Social drivers of health and their impact on violence in New Orleans as she is involved with strategic planning for the city’s violence prevention initiatives. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter exploring restaurants, traveling and New Orleans.
