Bio
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, I came to New Orleans to train at LSU for my
Med-Peds Residency and never left. I came to New Orleans out of a desire to work
with and serve a diverse community with significant medical needs. My patients span
from newborn infants to 101 years old, and I have been lucky to have the opportunity
to care for and know all of them. My areas of interest include breastfeeding, patient
engagement and education, care for young families, adolescent and transitional care.
I am also, most importantly, mom to two beautiful children and married to a wonderful
fellow Med-Peds Physician.
