About the Course:

The Media & Medicine Course is designed for LSU faculty members who want to improve their media skills.  The workshop covers important information about your professional responsibilities when working with the media and techniques for communicating with confidence and credibility. Space is limited to 12.

What you’ll learn:

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be better able to:

  • Discuss professional responsibilities when communicating with media
  • Communicate succinctly and with credibility
  • Identify and manage non-verbal communication issues
  • Develop comfortable on-air practice interviews
