Dr. Firan earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine
in 2017, followed by Pediatrics Residency and Chief Residency at Inova Children’s
Hospital in Falls Church, VA. As a graduating resident, he was recognized with both
the Top Resident Teacher in Pediatrics Award and the Pediatric ICU Resident of the
Year Award. He went on to complete his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Yale New
Haven Children’s Hospital where he earned the distinction of Medical Educator. He
then pursued advanced training with a fourth-year fellowship in Pediatric Interventional
Cardiology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. During his training, Dr. Firan presented
his scholarly work at regional and national meetings, including Pediatric Academic
Societies and the World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. Dr.
Firan is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.
