Bio
Dr. Kyle Glisson earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama before
completing medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed
his Pediatrics Residency and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition
Fellowship with us at LSU Health New Orleans and Manning Family Children's. Throughout
his training, Dr. Glisson has demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education,
serving as a lecturer for medical students, residents, physician assistant students,
and interdisciplinary teams on a wide range of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology
topics. An active clinician-scholar, Dr. Glisson has authored peer-reviewed publications,
presented his work at national and regional scientific meetings, and is currently
involved in research focused on eosinophilic esophagitis, pediatric inflammatory bowel
disease, and functional gastrointestinal disorders. We are excited to welcome Dr.
Glisson to our faculty and look forward to the expertise, dedication, and compassionate
care he will bring to our patients, learners, and the Department of Pediatrics.
