Jason Green is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center.  He received his BA in Microbiology from Louisiana State Univerity, and his DO from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.  He went on to complete an Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he served as Chief Resident.  He completed Pulmonary and Critical Care training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, PA. 

 

Dr. Green spent 3 years in practice in Memphis, TN that included teaching the University of Tennessee Emergency Medicine residents and Pulmonary and Critical Care fellows.  He specialized in ECMO support as a cardiac intensivist during that time.  He joined the LSU team in 2025, and enjoys continuing to teach residents.  Dr. Green is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
