Bio
Alissa Ice is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the LSU Health Sciences
Center in Baton Rouge. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Chemical Engineering
and concentration in biopharmaceutical science from the University of Kentucky. Subsequently,
she earned her MD from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her
Internal Medicine residency training at LSUHSC in Baton Rouge, where she also served
as Chief Resident. She served as a chief fellow and completed her Nephrology fellowship
training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
One of her passions is medical education. She enjoys attending the LSU Nephrology
inpatient service and outpatient Nephrology clinics. She is a member of the Alpha
Omega Alpha Honor Society.
