Ariane Bedimo-Rung, MPH, PhD, earned her BA in Politics from Brandeis University in 1988.  She earned her MPH in International Health and Development from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 1994, and her PhD in Behavioral Epidemiology from the Tulane Graduate School in 1999.  She serves as President of the LSU School of Public Health Faculty Assembly, Chair of the Epidemiology Student Admissions Committee, and as an active member of the LSU School of Public Health Administrative Council.  She is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health, who is interested in the built environment, social environments, parks, physical activity, and HIV.
