Dr. Boulmay earned his medical degree from the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2002. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine as well as a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida's Shands Hospital, where he received the Housestaff Teaching Award in 2003 and 2004 and he earned the Leighton E. Cluff Memorial Housestaff Award in 2005. Since that time, Dr. Boulmay has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. At the LSU Health Sciences Center, he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology, and he directs the Hemogology/Oncology clinic at LSU Interim Hospital. His clinical interests include head and neck cancer as well as lung cancer.
