A native of Abbeville, LA, Dr. Harold A. Fuselier earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from LSU and completed his internship at Charity Hospital before serving as a General Medical Officer in the U.S. Air Force. He completed surgery and urology residencies at Ochsner Clinic Foundation as well as a chief residency in urology at University of South Alabama Hospital in Mobile. Dr. Fuselier is board certified in urology and has been a professor of urology at the LSU Health Sciences Center since 2008. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Ochsner Department of Urology and Emeritus Program Director of the LSU/Ochsner urology residency training program. He also holds a clinical professorship in urology at Tulane Medical School. He is Past President of the Southern Medical Association's Urology Section and the Louisiana State Urological Society and is a former board member of the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association. With many scientific publications to his credit, Dr. Fuselier is an active researcher and educator. His research interests include erectile dysfunction, cancer and other diseases of the prostate gland, Peyronie's Disease, and renal stone disease.
