Michael Lan, PhD, is a Professor in both the Departments of Genetics and Pediatrics at the LSU Health Sciences Center.  His research interests include Transcription factors in neuroendocrine differentiation, transcriptional regulation of insulin gene therapy, pancreatic islet cell growth and differentiation, and neuroendocrine cancer gene therapy.
