Richard Scribner, MD, MPH, earned a BA in Biology from California State University in 1979, an MD at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1984, and an MPH in Epidemiology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1987. He is a Professor in the School of Public Health. His research Interests include the effect of environment on college drinking and on alcohol health disparities, as well as on the link between obesity and cancer.
